Whereas CBS News reports of, Russian Spy Ship tracked off the UK coast, as defence official warns Putin : “We know what you’re doing,” amidst which EU’s top diplomat warns of potential Russian aggression by 2028, urges increased defence spending.

Whereas in Asian Sub-continent, sad news comes from India, where 12 passengers reported dead as they jump out of a running train fearing fire, run over by another train in the Pachora Taluka of Jalgaon district in Maharashtra, on Wednesday evening, while in another development pertaining to Afghanistan, those Afghans who risked their lives to help American troops, blocked by Trump administration from resettling in US, reports Associated Press (AP), whereas Morning Star reports, Afghan asylum seekers call on Trump to exempt them from his refugee ban.

THE GUJARAT STORY

As I scan the online and offline news platforms in Gujarat, its news of Coldplay Concert at Ahmedabad ruling the headlines and heating the temperature amidst the winter waves, especially Coldplay concert and the kind of security detailing etc. and more takers for Coldplay ticks in Ahmedabad (Gujarat) Concert are from Maharashtra!

In an update on Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project, Vande Bharat Trains will run on a Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor until Shinkansen Trains arrive from Japan, The Indian Railways said the plan is to start fully-functional operations of Vande Bharat trains on this track by 2027, to ensure that the high-capital intensive project remains utilized until the Japanese Trains are ready to travel on same track.

On legal news front, THE TIMES OF INDIA report reads of, Consumer Court rejects petition of compensation from Oreva Group, the district consumer dispute redressal commission in Morbi rejected a petition filed last month by a voluntary organization and victims of the Morbi Bridge Collapse, the petition had sought compensation under Consumer Protection Act, alleging a deficiency in service by Over Group and its directors, who were responsible for maintenance and operation of the bridge.
