So, what is there in today's THE WORLD REPORT, as i scan the online and offline news-platforms and try to understand the pivots, what i see is that news headlines across the world are dominated with a very sad news from European Sub-Continent, where Several are reported killed, after gunman opened fire on campus in Orebro (Sweden), read THE INDEPENDENT report, which further detailed that, Armed police rushed to the school in Orebro, Southern Sweden, after a gunman opened fire on the campus and The Swedish News Agency TT News reported that the perpetrator died by suicide, read SUNDAY WORLD report.

While in other developments reported from Europe, Thousand flee Santorini Island in Greece as hundreds of earthquakes rattle deserted Greek Island, reported THE INDEPENDENT, which further detailed that, Hundreds of Earthquakes reaching upto a magnitude of four-five have struck Aegean Sea and hit the island every three-four minutes.

As far as THE INDIA STORY goes, as i scan the online and offline news platforms, #MahaKumbh and #DelhiPolls are teh flavour of the news in India, which largely reads that, FIR filed against Arvind Kejriwal, ahead of Delhi Polls, reported NEWSBYTES, whereas in #MahaKumbh - Bhutan King, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath take a holy dip at Sangam, reported THE HINDUSTAN TIMES, whereas India Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit #Mahakumbh today ( on Wednesday) and will take holy dip at Sangam at around 11 am, reported ODISHA TV.

As i scan the online and offline space in Gujarat Media, it seems it is a day packed with news of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) every media outlet is speaking about the 5-member Committee formed by Gujarat Government to draft UCC(!) which shall submit the report in 45-days(!) whereas Opposition slams UCC panel saying, 'Going to be hinderance for Christians, Sikhs, Muslims', The implementation of the uniform civil code will affect the culture, customs, religious rites and marriage system of the tribal society, says Congress Leader.

While in another development, Gujarat High Court upholds state's power on recruitment in minority schools, THE HINDUSTAN TIMES report read, which further detailed that, The Gujarat High Court was hearing a bunch of petitions by aided minority institutions in the state that sought to challenge the validit of the amended act.   

In other developments, Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) valued worth 2 million (~19.53 lakh) rupees, from Gujarat has been seized in Maharashtra, reported DECCAN HERALD, whereas in another report from same publication, Gujarat IPS Officer Abhay Chudasama resigned months before superannuation, the report further detailed that, The 1999-batch IPS officer Chudasama was at the centre of controversy during the Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) investigations into the Sohrabuddin Shaikh encounter case and he was arrested by CBI in 2010 and four years later he was discharged by a special court and was reinstated by the government.

Whereas in news from business and economy, Gujarat's energy supply ups 28(%) in 4 years, reported THE TIMES OF INDIA quoting the Union Government's response to a question in parliament, while Gujarat will host to the 23rd Solvent Extractors’ Association of India (SEA) Global Castor Conference 2025 on February 15, which will focus on emerging trends in usage of castor oil, reported THE HINDU BUSINESSLINE.

In the quarterly earnings pack, according to BUSINESS STANDARD updates, Gujarat Terce Laboratories standalone net profit ups 51(%) at 10.01 million (~1.01 crore) rupees on a YoY basis for 3QFY25 as against 6.7 million (~67 lakh) rupees during the same period, last year, while Gujarat Cotex also reported its net profit up 33.33(%) on YoY basis for 3QFY25.
