THE #DLG+2 DISPATCH
(GLOBAL EDITION)
as on 30th JANUARY, 2025 / THURSDAY

A Big Hello and A Very Good Moring to Readers and Viewers,
Today is THURSDAY, 30th JANUARY 2025, and here we go with our THE #DLG+2 DISPATCH / THE DATELINE GUJARAT DISPATCH.
__________________
While i'm completing the dispatch today, news pops-up on my machine which reads, US FED MEETING LIVE UPDATES from THE NEW YORK TIMES : Powell-led Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) voted unanimously to hold the benchmark interest rates unchanged and continues to holds key rates (unchanged) at 4.25-4.5% in first policy verdict for 2025, which is broadly in line with Wall Street Estimates, the decision to keep the rates unchanged is largely due to inflation clout which remains intact and compells the central bankers across the world to remain subdued on interest rates, however the policy to keep the rates unchanged is not in sync with POTUS DAVOS WEF speech where Trump had demanded Central Bankers from across the world to lower interest rates!
Powell Offers No Guidance on Future Rate Cuts, THE NEW YORK TIMES report read further and also highlighted a very key point that, After three cuts at the end of last year, Federal Reserve officials paused rate moves as they weigh a solid economy and rising inflation risks. Jerome H. Powell, the Fed chair, said the central bank was not on a “pre-set course.”
Amidst such scenario, what remains to be seen on Thursday morning, while the trading kicks-off on bourses right from New Zealand till New York (US).
The first ones to feel the heat will be exchanges in South Pacific region - New Zealand and Australia and the spillover effect will be felt on Asian Bourses in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and India.
Amidst the full-blown Sino-US war on Artificial Intelligence (AI), the way tech mammoths and cryptocurrency counters have felt the heat and are already the draggers, but now it is the Fed's unchanged stance, something traders and investors will keep an eye on, especially how the key market indices including the Indian Indices BSE SENSEX and NSE NIFTY react to these deadly #TechFin cocktail and its spillover effects.
It seems that now the Artificial Intelligence (AI) war is a full-scale blown out affair not only between US and China, but also amidst the tech players in China as Well.
US markets and tech leaders have yet not completely recovered from the DeepSeek - The Chinese AI Platform news and here comes Alibaba! with its "Khul Jaa Sim Sim" typed Effect in arena of AI.
According to the REUTERS Report, Alibaba release AI (Artificial Intelligence) model (QWEN 2.5 Artificial Intelligence Model) - it says surpasses DeepSeek, the report further read that, The unusual timing of the Qwen 2.5 Max's release, on the first day of the Lunar New Year when most Chinese people are off work and with their families, points to the pressure Chinese AI startup DeepSeek's meteoric rise in the past three weeks has placed on not just overseas rivals, but also its domestic competition!
