THE #DLG+2 DISPATCH (GLOBAL EDITION)
as on 1st OCT, 2025, WEDNESDAY
___________________
A Big Hello and A Very Good Moring to Readers and Viewers,
Today is WEDNESDAY, 1st OCTOBER 2025, and here we go with our THE #DLG+2 DISPATCH / THE DATELINE GUJARAT DISPATCH, - THE BUSINESS BUZZ ... Indian Indices NIFTY and SENSEX once again ended on negative counters in RED Zone on Tuesday, as I scan the news-headlines from (Hyper) Local to Global news-space, the buzzword is the monetary policy of the Indian Central Banker – Reserve Bank of India!
As preached, though
tailwinds of revised tax-slabs are in favour of the economy, headwinds of
global uncertainty are expected to compel the Central Bankers to maintain “Status
Quo” instead of announcing any further rate-cuts, reads most of the opinion
pieces and news-headlines in the pink pages.
Weather is equally
seen as the disruptor, as from today the agriculture damage data has started
surfacing from across India and Gujarat.
While on one-hand
revised tax slabs are being preached to benefit the people and help them save
some pennies, fears of commodity driven inflation including oil and food,
rising out of weather disruption, climate change and global uncertainty - is
not being ruled out, many subject matter experts and economists believe that
this is expected to hit the hard on the pockets of the common-man.
So, while one-hand
jaggernaut of tax slab revision is rolled and tossed verbally at its highest
pitch across the verticals and horizontals of the nation, the real impact will
be seen when the Auto Numbers monthly data reflects today on exchanges, followed
by Jul-Sep second quarter unaudited financial results (UAFR) of most of the
companies.
In the meantime, Goods and Service Tax
(Officials) who visited few major and mega garba events across the state of
Gujarat, which was seen as some kind of action form the tax law enforcers,
later it was clarified that GST Officials had just visited the Garba Sites and
had engaged in some kind of routine discussions, so technically it shouldn’t be
seen as a raid, was the opinion of GST Officials, which was reflected and
reported in vernacular media outlets in Gujarat.
Meanwhile, lets take a look at what is buzzing across the World, Nation and State.
