So, what is there in today's THE WORLD REPORT, as i scan the online and offline news-platforms and try to understand the pivots, what i see is that news headlines across the world is dominated with developments from LATIN AMERICA and CARIBBEAN ISLANDS! It was the weather spoiling the sport over the weekend! and worst it was Earthquake and Tsunami! alerts from across the Latin American and Caribbean news space, as major Caribbean earthquake had triggered Tsunami alerts.

Equally a politcial Tsunami has hit the #LatAm hub nation Ecuador where Presidential and Parliamentary elections are to be held again and Nation's organized crime and energy crisis are at stake in the polls, and the elections which is seen as US Alliance or Anti-American Shift? and as this elections being at attention of US media as well, it is important to understand that, Who is Daniel Noboa? The Conservation Millionaire President seeking re-elections in Ecuador!

In update from POTUS, White House and US, it is all surrounded around developments from Donald Trump and Elon Musk, where Musk has alleged $50 billion treasury fraud after DOGE's data access limited, while Trump expects Musk to uncover billions in fraud at Pentagon, Education Department, equally The POTUS has praised business magnet's role in budget-slashing initiative, despite legal challenges.

While Europe has a bundle of news ranging from EurAsian Conflict Zone of Russia-Ukraine, Polls in Kosovo, Earthquakes at Santorini Island and declaration of State of Emergency, Sweden shootout and how the nation is tightening the gun control laws, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Summit in Paris - where the geopolitics of AI is expected to remain in focus at a major summit in France this week, EU reforms agenda, Finnish Adventurers in Anctartica, Arctic Satellites, Bulgarian Naval Research anchored in Polars, etc.

However in talks with White House as Trump calls Putin over Ukraine, the conversation is termed as "Very Good Talks", and Trump reveals plan to end Ukraine war after Putin calls.

Headlines in African continent are dominated with the news from Sudan - where the Sudanese Military said of, Forming new government after regainining Khartoum.

Whereas while the Trump, South Africa row is growing over hotly contested land law, country's deals with US foes and controversy over administration's refugee status offer to White "South African Afrikaners", as US President's executive order provides resettlement for Afrikaners 'who are victims of unjust racial discrimination, White South Africans turn down Trump's US immigration offer saying - "No thanks".

On the other side, South African opposition party Economic Freedom Fighter (EFF) Leader Julius Malema has told the South Africa-born US Billionaire Elon Musk to "go to hell" after he made calls on X for the red berets chief to be declared an international criminal, as a result, Elon Musk calls for sanctions against Julius Malema.

Meanwhile, Media reports on Iran are quite intriguing as it reads that, Iranian threat on Trump's life was more serious than publicly known, as last year, security officials had warned Trump that Tehran had access to surface-to-air missiles and they were worried Iran would try to crash his private jet, while another report read of Trump's team worried Iranian spy would shoot down his plane with a missile, Trump staff flew on "Trump Force One" plane while the president boarded a decoy plane after security concerns increased, which is said to be the part of an upcoming book - Revenge : The Inside Story of Trump's Return to Power, penned by Journalist Alex ISenstadt.

On business front, news pack from Gujarat is dominated with headlines from State owned Oil-&-Gas arm Gujarat Gas of which the third quarter (Oct-Dec) earnings call recording is out, where it is learnt that the company has appointed Pankaj Joshi, IAS as the new Additional Director and Chairman on its board effective Feb 7, 2025, however the company just missed  its Earnings Per Share (EPS) by 32(%) and here's what Equity Market Analysts think will happen next(!), meanwhile another State owned Oil-Gas-Petroleum arm Gujarat State Petronet's consol profit dipped 41(%) on a Y-o-Y basis for 3QFY25 at 2.34 billion (~234.14 crore) rupees from 3.95 billion (~394.90 crore) rupees, during the same quarter - last year. On renewable energy front, Gensol Engineering bagged 9.68 billion (~968 crore) rupees solar project in Gujarat's Khavda Park, which marks Gensol's second major contract at the Khavda Solar Park this month, following an earlier 10.63 billion (~1,063 crore) rupees order for a 275 MW (megawatt) solar project, while in another development Waaree Energies started commercial production at Solar Cell Manufacturing site in Chikhli (South Gujarat) and on the tech-front in power sector, Sustainability Economics and Gujarat Power Corp Ltd inked MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) to Accelerate the Convergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Clean Energy.

On commodities front, Gujarat pulses exports doubles to 2.5 lakh (~2,47,789) tons from April to January, Gujarat leads the nation in the productivity of tru and gram, with impressive yields of 1,163 kilograms per hectare and 1,699 kilos per hectare.

Media report highlights computerisation of 5,745 Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS) of which over 2,900 to go live soon.
